Student Testimonies:

Allison Scarlett - Currently on outreach in Marseille, France

I came to CPX this past October, not really knowing what to expect. When I got to Kansas City, Missouri, I found that there was a 'family' of incredible people from around the world with the same passion. And these incredible people were willing to mentor, teach, prepare, train, push, and encourage me to go to the nations with the freeing message of Jesus Christ. They were able to provide an awesome environment of corporate worship, prayer, accountability and training. The staff deeply care about you, and want to see you succeed in all that God has for you.

During the three months of schooling, we had afternoon outreaches in Kansas City. We would just go on prayer walks around the neighborhood, asking the Lord what He was doing and how we could be a part of it. After a few neighborhood block parties, and single-mom tea nights, we started having worship, prayer, and bible teachings at their houses. We had planted a church before we knew it!

Now I’m in Marseille, France, with five other students planting churches within the north African Muslim communities. One shop keeper, Jameal welcomed our two guys, Ken and Kevin, into his booth to talk about Jesus and Mohammed over tea. By the end of the talk, lots of other vendors were eaves dropping and trying to be a part of what's going on in Jameal's booth. We are praying about starting a bible study with Jameal and some of his friends weekly. Please join with us in pleading with the Lord for their salvation.

After CPX, I will be moving to Mozambique, Africa to plant churches while caring for AIDS babies. It's pretty cool to think that the Lord can take a 21 year old like me and take her to Africa to establish His Kingdom.

"CPx was just what we needed to give us the confidence to take the next step "GO". We were privileged to build relationships with people that have a passion for Jesus and His purposes on the earth. I especially enjoyed hearing first-hand from missionaries currently on the field.."

Robert Devens currently serving in India

"The best part of the school, by far, was the speaker George Patterson. I learned that it was absolutely vital to church planting. That week completely transformed my worldview of church planting and missions."

"My time in CPx has been one of the most challenging times of my life but also the most rewarding and life changing. I am taking away a clearer understanding of what simple church is and a realization that I enjoy church planting! I loved how we learned things together in class but immediately lived them out through our outreaches here in Kansas City."

"At the age of 57 I actively entered the mission field. I left for two years for Hong Kong (1999-2001) to work in a "new boy house" for Christian drug addicts under the ministry of Jackie Pullinger. It was an exhausting lifestyle but very fulfilling. I came back to the US for just over a year. During that time I took the CPx class for All Nations in Kansas City, Mo. After my team outreach to New Delhi, India, I joined a team in SW China in Yunnan Province to teach in an underground Bible school. We targeted minority groups because Yunnan has 25 of the 56 minority groups living in our province. We consider the minority groups the unreached peoples of China. We taught them Bible classes for 10 weeks which was followed by a two-week outreach to the countryside. After the Chinese New Year holiday they attended another semester of classes and ended with another two-week outreach. In addition to the Bible school teaching I taught several classes in English as a second language. But I would have to say I found most of my fulfillment in teaching a weekly Bible study in my home to college students, teachers, and a few businessmen. Over a period of 3 1/2 years, these Chinese people became my mission field and my best friends. "
