Culture Shock!
It’s what happens when otherwise well-meaning and normal people appear to have a
complete nervous breakdown when pushed outside their comfort zone. Ever wonder if you could handle the stress of a cross-cultural experience? Knowing what to expect when you go overseas or go to your neighbor can often go a long ways towards coping better with the stresses that arise. This workshop will be interactive and practical. It will help you to recognize the stages of culture shock, help you to prepare for each one of them, and give you tools to get through them.
When: Saturday, February 16, 2008 from 9:00—12:00
Where: The All Nations Club House/CPX classroom (13009 8th Street, Grandview, MO 64030)
Cost: $5 to attend, free to Family Club Members
