What is All Nations?

All Nations is a group of individuals and local churches joined together to reach local neighborhoods all across the world for Jesus. To that end, we are engaged in leadership training, mentoring and church planting. We are also involved in caring for the poor, micro-enterprise, community development, education, AIDS awareness, and medical clinics, all with with one goal in mind: to transform peoples lives and bring worship to the Lord Jesus.

All Nations' vision is to see a growing number of disciples of Christ in every people group and nation through self-replicating churches.

All Nations' mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ through simple churches established by local church planters who are served by missionaries.

All Nations currently has a number of long term church planting teams in various stages of development throughout the earth. These teams can be found in China, Thailand, Taiwan, Nepal, Germany, India, South Africa, Mozabique, Ivory Coast, France, Romania, Cuba, the Middle East, and Guatemala. Currently, new teams are forming for other nations as well.

Our dream is to see hundreds of teams all over the earth loving and caring for people, meeting their practical needs and discipling them in the ways of Jesus. For more information about All Nations, please check our website at www.allnations.us.

The Church Planting Experience (CPx) begins every year in September and May. Contact us for exact start and stop dates.

CPx is is a six-month training program for those who are passionate to see Jesus worshiped by all the peoples of the earth.

Jesus modeled that evaluated experience is the best teacher. Jesus spent time with his disciples and taught them by mentoring and modeling. At CPx, we endeavor to teach in the same way. Classes occur in the morning, but are informal and allow interaction time with teachers and mentors. In the afternoons, evenings, and weekends, students go out in groups and attempt to put into practice those skills that they learn in class. Afterwards, students learn by de-briefing those experiences and sharing successes and failures.

In CPx, church planters seasoned on four continents will walk with you as you learn. First through three months of learning in Kansas City and then three months overseas in small groups, you will begin to live a revolutionary new life for the nations. You will learn how to start simple churches, small groups of people endeavoring to follow Jesus together. You will learn how to live humbly as a learner, preferring others. You will learn how to live in community, establishing deep, authentic relationships with classmates, teachers, and people learning to follow Jesus.

The Purpose of CPx is to prepare servant leaders to reach the unreached in the frontiers of today's changing world: in every sphere of life and every people of the planet. A model of a lifestyle of worship, prayer, fasting and personal discipleship that is focused on God's father-heart for the nations will be demonstrated, lived out, and passed on.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about CP
x

Who?

You are someone who wants practical, hands-on program about how to start Christ-centered communities around the world. You have basic Biblical knowledge and are mature in your walk with Christ.

We are experienced church planters from four continents who want to share our knowledge with you through interactive discussions, classroom times, special experiences in which you learn what it feels like to be an outsider or a refugee, mentoring, and facilitating outreach.

What?

Church Planting Experience is a hands-on program in which you will learn how to be a long-term cross-cultural holistic church planter. You will learn how to share Jesus with people from many different cultures and languages. You will learn to respect local cultures and customs while elevating local leaders to positions of leadership in house churches. You will learn how to be a life-long learner who listens to the guiding and leading of the Holy Spirit in your life.

When?

The first part of the program takes place from May to July or September to December. This part of the program is part interactive group time and part outreach time. After each outreach time, the group evaluates the experience individually and corporately to see what worked and what didn't. In many ways, this is when students learn the most.

The second part of the training takes place from August to October or January to April at a location overseas. These locations are decided during the first half of the course based on participant interest and number of participants. Usually only two choices are offered to students about outreach locations. We ask that students particpate in one of these outreachs during the second part of the training.

Where?

First in Kansas City and then in a location determined through discussions with students. Previous classes have gone to India, Thailand, Mozambique, Taiwan, Cambodia, China, and France among others.

How much does it cost?

The first part of the program costs $2,900 for individuals and $3,900 for couples. The second part of the program (the outreach portion) usually costs around another $4,000 per person. Participants are encouraged to do fund-raising for the second portion of the program. To help lower overall costs, we endeavor to find housing for all students with local families during the time of the Kansas City portion of the training. This helps keeps costs down and helps students to be in mentoring relationships with other members of the All Nations family. We, however, cannot guarantee we can find housing for all students. Rooms in group homes usually cost around $400/month in Kansas City.

What about my children?

Kids who are not in school are allowed to come to the program with Mom and Dad. After all, house churches take place in families with kids around! There are places for the babies to rest and sleep when they get tired and a yard for them to play in. Mom and Dad should work out their own child-care between them. Older kids can enroll in local schools or be home-schooled. As much as possible, husbands and wives are encouraged to attend the program together.

Am I too young or too old?

There are no age requirements to attend CPx. As long as you are mature in the Lord and able to handle the rigors of travel, that's good enough for us!

Do I have to have a college degree to attend CPx?

No. There are no previous educational requirements to attend CPx. Participants are expected to demonstrate basic Biblical knowledge, but no degrees are required.

What if I've already attended seminary? Is CPx too easy?

No. Many students come to us after earning advanced seminary degrees. The program has some very minor overlap with seminary programs but is mostly practical and hands-on, offering a different approach than most seminary courses.

How do I sign up?

Download the application here on our web site, fill it out, and mail it in.

What do I do if I still have questions?

Write, call, or e-mail. We'll get back to you. We love talking to students, so give us a call.
